Marking the creation of the next APOF Capsule Collection with design sisters Frederikke & Kathrine Hviid.
Every year we are delighted to design a small and limited selection of our Favorite pieces. Unlike full collections, which can be extensive and diverse, our capsule collection typically features around 10 carefully chosen items. It is meant to embody the essence of the season which is why we called this one Golden Summer. While we appreciate all seasons, summer holds a unique allure, radiating a positive energy that we strive to capture in our collections.
Our Capsules are usually build on existing Favorites, while it is also a window of opportunity to unfurl our visions for new designs. For instance, we have developed a kaftan-inspired dress, presented in both Liberty Fabrics and a new beautiful embroidered cotton. To further match the vibrant energy of the season the selection features blooming floral-prints and warm sun-kissed hues, together with ever-favorite silhouettes and neat detailing.
Since a Capsule is created in and for the ongoing season, the process is always very dynamic and energetic. Starting off by going through the archives, keeping previous cherished Favorites and fabrics in mind, visualizing with drawings and inspiration boards. It might be a creative mess, but we love it. Also, we are favoured with a strong common understanding, we trust the process and our suppliers, meaning that we don’t ever have to compromise with our standards, even though the design process is very squeezed compared to designing a main collection.
We are looking so much forward to show you these bright new Favorites designed to be worn repeatedly and styled in various ways and by that, hopefully encouraging women to invest in fewer, higher quality pieces.
